Well, the memorial park is so so, but since it is a Sunday today, there were many many local folks out on the lanes enjoying the clear skies. It was only at the museum that my heart wrench cos I am someone who hates wars and terror and the museum showed the devastating and tragic effects the atomic bomb brought to this city; it is amazing that Hiroshima today is so modern cos when the bomb fell, it was rumoured that nothing will grow in 75 years.
I mean, I think that the museum is kindda one sided cos they just emphasis on the evil effects brought about by the bomb but Japan is always shunning away from the fact that they too, had caused great pains to millions across the far east during the world war. Somehow greed is never ending and it will never stop cos we are all human and despite what you and say about your integrity and beliefs, deep inside allo of us have that slight tint of human greed and it is just if you managed to contain it or let it manifest through your actions, like wars in the cases of, well, those who started it.
The building below was the A Bomb building and since the bomd exploded almost directly above it, the structure was relatively unscathed and just a look and you can get to know how everything around it gets wiped out!
Like I said, the museum is for the purpose of educting people about the effects of using nuclear heads in attacks and Japan has not really gone into why they were attached. Personally, I am glad that the Japanese that time attacked Pearl Harbor cos if it;s not for their greed to gain control of the Pacific, Uncle Sam's army will just sit idle and not care about the war in this region and not develop the Nuclear Bomb that ended WW2.
Since I cannot get anyone to shoot me riding on the bicycle, this is the closest I can get to it:
I had one of my best days in Japan today, partly because of the bike! haha...the feeling of air against your head while you are riding through the streets on a sunny day and now sweating is so great and calming!
I returned the bike then took the tram to the main city center for lunch and I chanced back upon the chain that I had my first meal in Japan in Kyoto and opted to eat this set at only 790 yen!
Then I went to LV central haha, and decided to try out desserts at this place cos the displayed looked soooo freakingly tempting!
The mango light mousse tart is so good! The cream cheese mousse is so light and you do not feel jialat at all!
Then I walked through the sheltered shopping streets and bypassed Parco and bought Lauren's mascara from the pharmacy where I also bought Shiseido's new hair shampoo cos my Ascience is out. Then I went to Si-Tar-Bak-Sou and try the Coffee Jelly again! It is sooo good!
Tomorrow early, I'll catch the 7 am bullet train to Tokyo and start the final leg of my trip to Nippon Land. I am so glad that I made this trip cos I have seen so much and enjoyed myself tremendously. This trip also gave me time to reflect upoon life and sort things out.
