I checked out of tiny Granvia into tinier Holiday Inn Express in Kobe today. And in case you are wondering if i really tried out my cheapo Kobe beef with boiling water experiment, I did not. The reason is simple: Uncooked Kobe beek is steep too. I checked out the food hall and apparently, the cheapest Kobe beef I managed to find costs 1300 yen for 100 g! That's like 18 bucks for 100 gram! How to afford like that?! haha...

And I am really broke cos I spent alot of money today again! haha, I bought etthusaias, the brand famous for acne care and it's so cheap(er) here! The pimple cream is only 2000 yen, ard 28, and in singapore, the last time i bought, it was 38!

Ok, and I also bought Sake! 3 different kinds to be exact! haha...Normal Sake, Cherry Sake and Red Rice sake! Why did I buy Sake? Well, Kobe's Nada area is famous for producing some of Japan's finest Sake and there are so freakinbg many Sake breweries there!

As I was running late as I've only reached Kobe at 2 cos I was lazing in Osaka, I only had time to visit 2. The first one I went had a museum showing the history of Sake production and I managed to try a free shot! Haha, the sake was 20% alcohol!

Then, I decided to visit this one I had a deep impression of from Japan guide.com called Sakura (I marked it "Looks Good" on my notes haha)

The Sakuraen is smaller that the first one and it does not really has a museum, but it does has a cafe which was already closed when I got there. So I went into the gift shop thinking I can get more free samples of Sakes cos I was deeply attracted by the 3 displayed in the fridge!

Turns out it's not free to try them! Haha, But! the great news is that it costs only a cheap cheap CHEAP 300 yen to try 3 of them! haha...

The first one I had was the vintage brew Sake which was potent!

Then I had this lighter one but still, it is strong!

And lastly, I tried what really attracted me, the red colored one (cos Rose is red and it taste great) and sadly, it is not sweet like Rose! haha, But it is light and very easy on the throat and I was so charmed by it I decided to buy a small bottle home!

I reallt love sake! haha, they do not burn your throat like the other alcohol cos it is so god-damn smooth and refreshing! The best thing is that you can have it cold, or warm!
