good ole' times and a new beginning

So it is now November! My, how time flies! I can still remember first touching down in Vienna 2 months back and all hyped up bout the next 4 months I'll be spending here, and now, I am halfway through! Plus, the fact that Boss is starting tomorrow just reminds me that I do indeed need to get back home to bloody Singapore, now, that's sad.

Clearing my mobile memory and realised that I took many pics which I wanted to post on this blog but did not managed to due to sheer laziness, so I'm taking this oppurtunity to post some of them here...

This is the card that Rob made for me! (and a whole lot of others too) He bought papers and cut out the word 'Danke' and stick them on the cover and then, he slipped the card into the mailbox to surprise me! Ain't that lovely? Of course, this was done way back in October before he got himself into his current state of mess with tons of girls across at least 3 continents (yes, not countries). And I am so wondering what he did in Italy when he said "Lets just say I wasn't sleeping in my hostel" What a typical horny 22 year old american college jock.

This is a picture taken while I was travelling to Graz 2 weeks back and realised that Autumn is here with all those hues of brown and red. Of course, the train ride was actually kindda nice cos the country side look so lovely.

This is the best bargain I ever found in Vienna. A 2.5L tub of Vanilla ice cream so good that they come with vanilla beans! All these for only Euro 1.99 !

Ok, now that stuff pre-theft-in-bloody-Prague is over, I came back by bus from Prague yesterday and it feels so good to be back! Met up with my wonderful friends (Montse, Christina, Martha, Etianne, Jeanbaptist, Claus, and of course Rob) and my great buddy (who else but the ever amazing Cathi!) last night and i had a blast at a local sports pub 1516 where I had the burgers last week(Irish pub Fleningans was too crowded last night) downing beers! Plus! Martha's sister were here to visit her and as usual, it is always great to meet new friends! I am so lucky to have such great friends here, they really do make a difference to the whole exchange experience, especially since I am the only Singapore student here this term!

After the pub, we came back to do Schnaps shots! Thank you Cathi for the Schnaps, all I got was praises from everyone who had it. In fact all asked me where I got it from!

Martha, me and Jeanbaptist

Martha and Montse

Martha's sister! They look so alike!

And of course, there's always the lovely Christina!

Not to mention, me and Montse!
