Anyway, updating my blog with pictures of Copenhagen before I leave for Paris this Thursday till Sunday; gonna be doing so much travelling for this month that I'll be spending so little time with my amazing friends here in Vienna! Missed so many of them while I was in Copenhagen; but nonetheless, Elise and Huiling were such great travel mates! We three acted like we were crazy people and laughed at every smallest joke we can crack up!
The first night, or rather, evening (it was only 6pm) in town, where christmas is around the corner! And pretty lights were on display!

The main shopping street in Copenhagen, there's ultra expensive Royal Copenhagen and George Jenson side by side.

First meal in town where we ate a knock off Subway sandwich at this place called Sunset Bld.

First night in town and we are out to party! Went to Culture Box and had lots to drink! The photo showing the drinks were only like a third of what we had!

We really enjoyed the music they played in the club and we managed to dance; and we have a wonderful time!
On Saturday, we went to the port by grabbing use of daylight to see the beautiful shop fronts lining along the harbour. There's also a Christmas market there along the harbour and Elise and I had Crepes with chocolate sauce and crushed hazelnuts. Huiling and Elise also managed to get some really nice souvenirs for their friends and themselves! As it was a Saturday, there was a party where they were dishing out free beers in small plastic cups to all and tons of folks were there to enjoy the lovely afternoon.

We then strolled along the harbour and managed to see the new avant garde Copenhagen Opera house on the opposite island of Christianhavn! Then, we continued to walk further down to search for the famed Mermaid! And it is really much smaller than expected.

After the sun went down at 4+pm, we proceeded to Tivoli gardens and the place was beautifully adorned with many lights for Christmas. I managed to grab a pair of nice tea light holders from Royal Copenhagen and some pretty christmas cards. That said, it maeant that the gals did buy something too as the christmas market there was sprawling!

Also, there is this really funny video, or maybe my mind was in the gutter again as usual, but I find these dwarves to be really kinky! And there are tons of kids in the tent watching them at Tivoli!
On Sunday, we met up with Elise's friend Kevin, a nive Dane who was in SMU last term on exchange and he brought us to this lovely place in main town where we had Sunday brunch at 125DKK per person. Look at the spread! We felt so full after the meal! Then we went to Malmo, a town in South Sweden that is only 40 minutes away by train from Copenhagen.

The city of Malmo is a charming nice little town and since we were there on a Sunday, the shops were closed and yes, that means that we did not get to shop for H&M at it's birth country, and I swear that the H&M in Malmo is gigantic. The symbolic modern architecture of the twisting tower in Malmo is considered to be a must see feature in Malmo with its avant garde design.
