i finally got to salzburg and made my 20 euros spent on applying the Vorteilscard worthwhile! The train tix costs 47 euros return after a 45 percent discount so i saved 40 euros and after minusing away the 20 bucks on the card, i saved 20 euros! haha, of course I saved alot on train travel considering i also got 25% of international journeys and 45% off to graz and melk.
anyway, the decison to go to salzburg was so last minute when i heard etianne and jeanbaptist were going today i decided it was now or never for me to go with them...so i asked them and...this morning at 8.22am we were onboard a really packed train where we were left with no places to seat, and therefore stood for the 3 hours journey there. Of course, interesting stuff happened on board when i exchanged heated arguments with this austrian lady cos her and her family with tons of irritating kids occupied 2 cabin of 6 and they kept walking to and fron from one cabin to the other. now, when the train is empty and relaxed, i really do not care, or rather, give a fuck care when u move, in fact, she looks so fat and pudgy, the excercise will do her wonders...but then agian, she kept eating and passing food from one cabin to the other so i guess all excercise and lipo will be no good for her. I finally got so irritated when she and her family kept brushing us along the corridor that i asked her in a nice calm tone 'are you going into this cabin? (or you're returning to the cabin next door) and she has the fucking nerve to say "the boys going in here, not me, why? do you have a problem' in a raised voice! That's it! all hell break loose and and all i can remember was my voice got louder and louder and she telling me to shut up and i telling her to talk to my hand (yes, i did say that) and the classic: she telling me to go back to whatever country i come from...what a great way to startmy trip! yeah!

anyway, salzburg was beautiful and the weather is beautiful with nice sunshine and warmth, and 2 extremly funny french guys! we took a hike up this fortress (which is like the only thing to see in salzburg anyway...)and mind you the hill was steep! like 20+ degree angle! anyway, view was wonderful from the top and really, a great trip!
