Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow!

And so here we are! Lauren welcomes you to her shop! Haha, not exactly her shop, but rather, the shop where she's working part time from Wed- Sat for these 2 weeks to kill time and earn some extra mooh-lah. Well, the jewellery shop she's helping out is in the posh Mandarin Hotel Shopping Gallery and apparently, since she's the only one tending the shop, she has the entire shop to herself to erm...read her books and loisten to nice jazzy tunes to kill time while waiting for the occasional shopper.

The shop actually stocks some very interesting pieces, and from what i've seen, they are mostly american stuffs and apparently many hollywood (yes dear, hollywood, not our local caldecott hill) stars have been spotted in these lovelies! There're even magazine cutouts to show you who's wearing what and they range from Eva Langoria to the infamos Paris Hilton (though if it's me, I would really just show Eva and the others and not miss 'Stars are Blind')



And the prices for these stuffs ain't cheap my dear, a quick glance at the display shows earrings costing 300 upwards! Poor lauren only made 1 sale so far selling off a 250 bucks earrings yesterday (which in her words were 'enough to cover for my pay', haha) Maybe the bad 3rd fllor location is to blame and since lovely lauren is hidden from view oif outside world, those lusty boyfriends are not able to spot this lorgeous shop assistance and come in to buy something for their girlfriends (and while at it, flirt with lauren)

Anyway, I went down to look for her today after my haircut! Yes! I cut my hair finally! I got a new shop crop which I really really love! It's always so damn refreshing after i had my hair chopped off!






























There's this teddy bear sitting in her shop which Lauren told me everyone who comes into the shop to look for her loves to play with, Of course i wouldn't give up such a a good shot! and aother cheap thrill. By the way, all who played with it are boys and men...hmmm wonder why...






























There's also this lovely black chandelier hanging in her shop (which you'll definately hit with your head of you're over 5 feet 5)






















And I also brought her some starbucks and snacks while I went to visit her; there's actually a lovely little corner at the back of her shop where there's a lovely table and you can just sit there to eat and we had some chit chat session there




And of course, we spent most of our time trying to find the perfect spot for a great shot where the lighting's purr-fect to make us look worthy of matching those jewels she's selling!
