As usual, took th Tram D that goes directly to Sudbanhof and managed to get those rail tix at 140 euros for 4 sleeper return. Also manage to get a hostel in Zurich for only 35 euros per night at their local HI. All hostels are booked and i cannot even stay for 2 nights! Zurich can be covered in 1 day I am sure. In fact, I am thinking of taking train to Berne as well!
Anyway, today is Sunday and all the shops are closed except for restaurants. Surprisingly, the 1st district (old town centre) is really crowded with Viennese though, Cathi mentioned that because Viennese likes to go to the old town and sit in the pretty gardens and take lunch, have coffee and chat on Sundays, so the old town center is the most vibrant part out of the 19 districts. I know my district looks dead for sure. haha.
Wanted so badly to go to Hofer to buy their cheap beef cubes to make Beef Stew, but since it is a Sunday, all supermarkets are closed! Luckily managed to find one along the tram line near to my hostel, so I managed to get like tons of beef cubes for 7 euros. By the way, they charged for plastic bags here so this is how i usually carry my stuffs, by dumping all into my back pack (common practice here) or I'll reuse the shopping bags and carry the stuffs if ithere's too much. Oh, got my 4th 6-pack in under 1 week since i got here. Beer is sooo good and sooo cheap!

Back to beef stew, they do not have wine in supermarts so i decided to do other stuffs instead. Got some lettuce and decided to stir fry them with mushrooms and beef instead, oh, and i got a bottle of oyster sauce form the mart at 2 euros, but when i used it to marinate the beef, the oyster sauce smells weird, it's is NOT lee kum kee by the way...
So after chopping ard for like 30 mimutes, decided to pan fry all the beef cubes so i can use it nex time for other purposes and make my veggie stir fry and an omelette with ham and mushrooms.

Decided to stay atkins and not have pasta and too lazy to cook rice, but the servings were so huge that i cannot finish the omelette, so saved the leftover so i can kiap between my sandwiches on another day. haha...To all who doubt my cooking and think i can only shop, those above are not take outs hor...
So hell bent on making my beef stef so i can have like a nice stew for my pasta and also, chicken with carrots and mushrooms in oyster sauce!
