a day out at ikea...

i realised when i woke up yesterday morning that somethinbg is seriously missing in my life, something, hug-able, fluffy and most importantly, affordable. Hence, I decided to google Ikea in Vienna and managed to find 2; one that provides free transportation there from city center@ opera, but gotta pay 1.45 euros back, and the other at Wien Nord where I can take a train to this station called Kagraner Platz, then the bus 24A.

Therefore, an hour later, i managed to get there on public transport but before what exactly happened to Lil' Mr. Shopaholic at Ikea, there is a prequel at H&M (what? are they even connected? well, apparently they are in my case...)

See, the station before Kagraner Platz is called Kragren, and I got off at this stop instead. After i walked out from the station, I do not see any bus 24A (I see 23A, 26A, but not 24A) and that is when i realised i must have gotten off at the wrong stop. But the good, or rather, great, news is that there is this mammoth shopping mall besides the station and all I can see then was the brightly litted H&M signage and an arrow below it (serious!) Hence, I decided to not sulk and harper on the fact that I had gotten off wrongly, but rather, to channel all my grief and negatice chi by attacking H&M for the 5th time in less than 1 week.

By the way, last I counted, there are like 10 H&Ms within 5 mile radius of my hostel (compared to only one in Milan city center that does not even sells Men's wear!)

I *heart* Vienna!

So managed to get for myself a polo tee, another stripped polo tee (70% off and the design is the one i really liked, remember the one I'm giving to Kiyo cos it's size S, well they have my Medium here!)) and a black tee, all for 17 euros.

After H&M, then I proceed to Ikea and I so knew where to get off from the bus cos' who can miss out on their trademark yellow and blue exterior?! The Ikea here is so gigantic it makes the one at Redhill looks like K-Mart!

So after browsing through at their gorgeous stuffs, i managed to buy 2 fluffy cushion pilows, i huge mug, a throw-over, small pot, spatula set for frying and some others. The bill totalled 21 euros (not bad huh?) and I also need to get the blue plastic carrier at 50 euro cents to dump my staffs (paper bags costs 30 cents each!)

oh, and i managed to eat some swedish meatballs; cost me 3.45 euros for 10 pieces, and moi top it off with some cream mousse.

Lastly, before I jet, or rather, train, off to Zurich tonight, just want to post more photos of another night at Kaiko last night. Poor Whtiney lost her cell! gosh, and it's an american line, so i gotta sent her home in a cab rather than looking for some night bus and the bloody ride costs us 33 euros...but at least she got back safe and sound!

Oh, by the way, I realised that everytime we are at a party, there'll be photogs snapping photos of us then distributing some name cards to us after the shot, and I always thought it was something dodgy, till I decided to check out www.vienna.at under their left side column under party, and I chose Kaiko. Well, aopparently, I am living the life of a socialite! haha, my pic is on it! haha...i have never felt so glam! hahaha...whatever~
