this is the time

Thank you Rob and Whitney for the best time I had.

i just said goob bye to rob and whitney. the photo was just taken before they left this morning. i saw them to their Claus's car but it was just too painful to see them being driven away. it was hard. too hard to an extent that i never thought i will be able to handle it. Montse left this morning at 6 am and i hug her good bye too. Darn. All good things come to an end. They should. But good byes are hard, especially when all these friends are so special. Jeanbaptist will be leaving in a few hours, then it's andrea tonight. Next will be Mindy and Kevin. Too hard, too hard. I have teared so much that tears meant nothing to me now. The special friendship is the one that matters. It was a good exchange. Something I will do all over again. Something I'll do with these friends I made all over again. anytime. anywhere.

This is the photo when Etianne left 2 weeks ago. Seemed so distant.

The last dinner we all had last night. Montse made supper and it was hot chocolate, spanish style. I will remember the kitchen. Joy and fun were created and shared.

P.S to rob: Nina cried really badly after she turned her back when you all drove off.

P.S to Rob and Whitney: I cried really badly too after you all left...tried to get back to bed but just cannot sleep. Had to skype one of my friend and talk and cry to her. Ahe did not have a mic so I looked like a fucking idiot crying into the laptop while i was at it! haha...but i think i have pour everything out now, so all's good. Have a great christmas and we'll keep each other updated!

where do i even begin?

where do i even begin?
the joy that you have brought with you. the differences you have made to my otherwise, mundane life. the smile and laughter that we filled the streets and room with. the thoughts of wisdom and sometimes, foolishness, which we all think about. the stories that we all now have, the stories that we all now have for life.
where do i even begin?
the impact has been done, the deal has been sealed, the friendship had begun. but where will it lead us? no one will ever know, but alas, this autumn has been special. it will be that special phrase in our life. in our hearts. in our minds. in our memories. In our memories which we will think about for many years down the road. In our memories which we will have stories we can share forever. and most importantly, in our memories and for eternity, a friendship we can all treasure for life.
where do i even begin?
We all say "no tears" because the end of this friendship in Vienna is only the start. We all say "no tears" because we do not want each other to be upset. We all say "no tears" because most importantly, we all have to rejoice. We all have to rejoice for our new friends found.

So "no tears" there will be, and I thank you all for such a special time in my life.

your friend,

We've only just begun

We've only just begun to live

White lace and promises

A kiss for luck and were on our way

We've only just begun

Before the rising sun we fly

So many roads to choose

We start our walking

And learn to run

And yes! weve only just begun

Sharin horizons that are new to us

Watchin the signs along the way

Talkin it over just the two of usWorkin together day to day, together

And when the evening comes we smile

So much of life ahead

Well find a place where theres room to grow

And yes! We've only just begun

last exam over!

i had my last exam on protfolio, capm today, and after that, my roomie and i spent some 'quality time' before he leaves on friday, and by 'quality time' i meant shopping. that to him a just torture cos' poor ole' rob simply hates to shop. and the reason why he's willing to go H&M to pick up ling's bag then to rathaus xmas market? Well, he has to buy xmas gifts for his family...

i got this big bag for ling at h&m and i think she'll like it. i meant, that skinny 5 ft 11" tall gal can carry off anything! and i also got stuff for whitney, rob and montse. sad sad xmas exchange...

last kaiko. absolute. period.

Last night was the absolute last night at Kaiko. The place where over the past semester had brought much needed distraction to us exchange students in WU. A place where friends get together to drink and get drunk, so theoretically, nothing sensical would have been exchanged. it's also a place where hook-ups and relationships are 'cultivated', if you need a better word. Lots of fun there, but most importantly, lots of fun with MY friends there.

Thank you for a great Fall this 2006 in Vienna!

And the last pizza from the stand next to Kaiko...

done with my classes in vienna!

I finished my last class this semester today! I had the last class which is International Finance (3 days crash course of 8 hours each) and now all I gotta do is to submit my 5-10 page report on a proposal with my comments and views on one of the presentation given by other groups. The deadline? 7th January. Yes, in January (the term here actually ends in late January, so alot of studets are studying this week for their exams next week before a long Xmas break, but most courses in English for exchange students ends in mid Dec)

Next Wednesday, I've got my exam in Portfolio management which I am really scared of. Think I may fail one of the 2 finance course = have to take very difficult Finance course in SMU. Reason it will be difficult = It is taught by Asians = Asians = good in math = alot alot of Math involved = Me = Asian = Me, Asian failing = Me sucks in Math = Asians NOT good in math = this whole logic is flawed OR = Me too lazy to study, and therefore fail.

to celebrate this joyous occasion (alone, sadly) i made bak kut teh! yeah! oh my god...taste so good!

too free and lazy

i am too lazy yet not sleepy enough. so i made this for you my wonderful room mate, Rob! haha! So loving it!

to opera, to opera! for the nutcracker!

First up, photos from my camera on Monday night: Rob in his hoody which I think will make a great photo, so much attitude in there bro!

Whitney and I in our Vienna beach moment

K, now for the serious stuff: I went to the opera today, or rather, yesterday with andrea while montse is in salzburg, rob and whitney are away on their strategic management trip (which the professor will get wasted, on his trip with the other class last week, he passed out on the bar and on the floor and he hooked up with some girls, yah, the professor!) Oh, and Rob is gonna propose to Nina on this trip! Sweet! Oh...I am serious!

Anyway, andrea and i decided to go and see what the fuss is all about with The Nutcracker, and since it's near christmas and this ballet only plays near Christmas, of course we have to do it! The ballet was beautiful and it feels sooooo Christmas-sie. Glad we both saw it and after the ballet, Andrea and I joined some friends we met at the Opera for a beer in Flanangans and then, we went to this latin club which I went on Halloween called Floridita. Andrea loves that place. In fact, I have not seen her sooooo happy in a club (well, not this happy) She finally managed to get to shake some ass with her hot latino salsa moves, but the hip hop yoh-yoh in me just ain;t gonna work with the salsa moove man! She did got some great guy to dance with her and man! They danced so well I felt like I was watching a salsa competition! You go gal! haha...
Andrea and I were famished before the show started after going there at 6.30 to quese for the Standing Room tickets and decided to brave the cold 6 degrees (i think it is lower) temperature without our already checked-in coats to run to the undergroud passage to grab some food since we got an hour to kill before the show starts.
This is the stage! Ain;t it pretty? Look at the Christmas tree! Now I know why the Nutcracker is for Christmas!

we sure like hilary duff...but we love laguna beach!

remember on Wednesday night when there's was a farewell party at Soho, the one where I got really wasted and went hysterical? Well, upon examining newly found evidence, I got this video taken by lovely Claus before we even went to Soho (read, that is, it's not even midnight) and I cannot believe we actually did such a lovely rendition of the theme song from Laguna Beach, a common interest, Whitney, Rob and I shared here. Ha. In case you guys think we are wasted in this video, I can assure that I do not think we are wasted yet, simply because I actually have memory of this happening, it's just that I did not realise Claus actually took such a long video clip.

Now, we are celebrities. Nuff said. Oh, and boy do i feel embarrassed! But this video is so bad that it is too good to not share! And do you not think I look like Cher? haha. The dress that Whitney had on is gorgeous though, no wonder it was calling for her name in the shop.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETIENNE

Happy Birthday Etienne! It's been more than 24 hours since you left back home to France, and in particular, Paris, I hoped you are having fun now in Paris with your wonderful girlfriend!

farewell party at soho

my oh my, it was a long night. where shall i begin? i cannot even remember what happened last night. the last thing i knew was that me seating along the corridor calling josephine and crying. so fun: being drunk, dirty, hysterical and crying in my corridor.

rob had fun last night! like a squirrel chasing after a hazelnut (=him being happy when greek goddess nina chose to dangle her olives in front of him, no, not that pair of olives you are thinking) but i am glad he had a wonderful time, especially like he said, it had been a long drought for him.

and how can i forget about miss david. yeah guys, david appeared though this time round, he, or rather she, was very polite on her exit. she had tooo much fun last night with her hot spanish stallion.

talk bout being international! rob(american) with greek, whitney(american) with spanish, you guys see some patterns here?

it was also sadly, etianne's last night here as he left home to paris this afternoon. gosh too soon, and too fast.

regular karaoke night at soho, rob as usual snatched the mike and we sung j lo's waiting for tonight

This is whitney 24 hours after last night, yup, same clothings, hungry, maybe too much fun and physical activities last night till this afternoon! she must have had a long horse ride, talk about loving her pony, or rather, stallion.

oh another xmas party!

First, look at this gorgeous vienna beach photo of whitney, who seemed to be having an asian armpit fetish, me who look like i am satisfying her asian armpit fetish, and montse, who is just ignoring me and whitney with our armpit fetish. haha, hilarious, and i absolutely lurve it!

k, story now: there was another xmas party last night! this time it was at marta and christina's place near the ferris wheel of vienna (noe friends, have i ever told you that the ferris wheel here is apparently famous? despite it looking like like crap and needs to be scrap, urgently.)

anyway,s we went over to their place and got there around 8 (i was busy crunching excel solver for my darn portfolio management, and since i ain't a computer nor finance whiz despite my asian chinese heritage, i took like hours to do it, in fact i did not even complete the damn question, but then again, at least i touched excel this semester! kudos to me for that!) marta and christina made a lovely dinner for us that consisted of tortilla con patatas, pasta salad, and tons of salami and ham from spain! lovely dinner! surprisingly, there were very little alcohol involved last night, so yes, we were all very sober and awake (ability to do that after 9 is so difficult to achieve lately).

Etianne arrived french diva style (=being very late) cos he had dinner with JB and the french gals in panorama as he's leaving on thursday back to france :( anyways, he got there so late that whitney had to leave cos she had to catch the last bus back to europa (which she said is actually nearer to salzburg than vienna, ha! so now u all noe how far that is!) did the usual exchange of gifts and i got this lovely cute moose from marta! Marta was so cute when she felt so bad for giving this away as a present, but i love it! it is so cute and i am sure all my friends out there know that i love stuff like these, it's just that i am too embarrassed to buy it myself cos it seem so girlish! haha...
The night ended late at around 2+ because we were busy massaging each other haha, and we 4 boys took turns to massage all of the gals and vice versa. we also played this game where the gals have to guess who massaged whom! Oh, and we did lotsa dirty talk while massaging each other too! haha, it's funny how obscene words can sound! haha, Andrea commented I was very stiff and hard! haha, in fact, i am harder than Rob! haha
The girls had this sweatshirt on with their names behing, isn't that cute?!
I was trying to grab a shot while these two "lovebirds" were seating together but alas, she discovered and made this into one of those kodak moments where 2 celebs are secretly dating and the paparazzi is lurking in one corner and the angry celeb (whitney) throws off a snare and intimidating stare! classic shot! they will have such a great dysfunctional family if they ever get together (i know it's impossible for them to be together though...)
